Request Subject: Liza Stifters family–The Burlaka’s in Ukraine
Prayer Request:
This is an update to an earlier prayer request concerning the Burlaka family in Ukraine. Liza, Nancy Stifters daughter-in-law, and her husband Patrick, (Nancys son) are moving this week to Boulder, Colorado, where Patrick will be starting a job after his recent Graduation. Also, Liza’s mother, Maiia and her sister, Nastya are traveling from Ukraine next week to visit them. They are on a 1 month Visa and then must return to Ukraine where they live in the central part, which has so far avoided bombings but they of course are not sure for how long. Liza’s father, Roman has been constricted for training as active military. (He is a Veterinarian ). He left at the end of May for training. They do not know his location but have been in communication with him. Liza bought her Father US Army boots, vest and Helmet—none of which was provided. Liza has raised over $10,000 in aid for Ukraine. US news has been full of stories about the economy and rising gas and food prices lately (among other news) and Ukraine is no longer forefront . Please continue to keep the Burlakas and all of Ukraine in your prayers.
