Request Subject: Prayers for Ukraine
Prayer Request:
Lord, we offer these prayer requests submitted in writing by our congregants in worship:
Pray for the people of Ukraine and and for the families of those who have lost loved ones.
Strength and comfort for all those affected by war in Ukraine.
For the people of Ukraine and Russia, and for our leaders.
Pray for Brian Stuhlman, an educator at Mizzou, who has friends and family in Ukraine. He is most concerned about his brother who is in the Ukraine fighting force.
From Randy Smith: Prayers for every person who is working for peace in Ukraine.
From Virginia Fenley: For the citizens of Ukraine.
From Marcia Tighe: Pray for William McFarren and his family. William is an American and a close, long-time friend who has worked in Moscow for a Russian businessman for many years. He and his family have moved to Istanbul to recover from physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion and sort out what comes next. William’s wife is Russian. They have two children under the age of ten.
From Marcia Tighe: Pray for the Russian people who are confused and do not support this war.
Lord, may all our prayers for peace and comfort be heard and fulfilled, and may your Kingdom come.
