Prayer Request:
Nathan, Melissa, and big brother Micah Staley welcomed baby Samsen Leaton Staley into their family on September 29, 2020.
Sam has since had to be taken to Children’s Mercy for an obstruction in his bowels and has been diagnosed with Hirschsprung’s disease. Hirschsprung’s involves missing nerve cells in the muscles of part or all of the large intestine (colon). Present at birth, it causes difficulty passing stool.
Today he is having Ostomy surgery and starting his treatment journey. Please pray for there to be more nerve cells in his colon toward his rectum. Pray for the surgeons , a speedy recovery, and for Samsen to go home soon and meet Micah.
